Haripur oil refinery captured
HARIPUR (Northern Sylhet), DEC. 14- Indian troops have captured “Intact” the Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) refinery, the only self-refining petroleum-cum-gas plant in Bangladesh located here about 19 k.m. from Sylhet town report agencies. . At the time of its capture yesterday evening the plant had 12,000 gallons of petroleum and a huge store of gas. It also feeds the highest fertilizer factory at Fenchuganj about 64 kms south of Sylhet on the bank of river Khassiara.
