Pak troops shell camps

From Our Agartala Office, SEPT. 4 – Pak troops shelled refugee camps for two hours this morning on the border area between Gopalnagar to Katamara (distance 20 kilometers) in the Mohanpur area of sadar subdivision in Tripura.
According to police sources, six children were killed and another seriously injured.
Pak troops heavily shelled Belonia town on Thursday midnight. They used three inch mortars on Indian sub-divisional headquarters. There is, however, no official confirmation of casualty on the Indian side. Indian forces fired back and silenced Pak guns.
On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Pak troops fired upon Indian villages at Debipur, Harihardola, Sibnagar, Sharmacheita and Kacharghatt, causing many casualties.
On Wednesday a Pakistani agent along with 20 Razakars trespassed into a house at Malaya village in Makalpur sub-division and assaulted the owner, took away cattle and paddy. On the same day Pak Troops, intruding into Indian territory, kidnapped two evacuees from Belcherra in Khowai sub-division.
PTI adds : Two Pak patrol boats were destroyed and 15 Pak troops killed by Mukti Fauj guerillas in an ambush near Mandabhag in Comilla district today, according to reports received here from across the border.
Mukti Fouj guerillas also attacked a Pak position at Chandia and Narayanpur in Comilla district and killed 21 soldiers, including one officer, and 24 Rajakars. They captured a small quantity of arms and ammunition from there.
In another offensive at Panchura in Sylhet district on August 31, Mukti Fouj guerillas killed 5 Pak troops Another four “enemy” troops were killed in an ambush by guerillas at Charnel in the same district on September 1.
A total of 52 Pakistani soldiers were killed when Mukti Fouj fired on troops carrying boats at Mirpur in Comilla district in September. 2.
