Bomb Blast in Dacca

DACCA, JULY 23- A bomb exploded late yesterday near the main Dacca railroad station at Kamlapur, reports AP. The station is more than 3.2 Km from the hotel where Tunku Abdul Rahman, Islamic Secretariat Secretary General is staying on a mission to examine the situation in East Bengal, reports AP.
The blast which was heard in outlying residential districts apparently did no damage; it was one in a series of nightly explosions in this regional capital. Officials had no comment. The blast came after nearly two days of rain during which more than eight inches of rain fell on Dacca. The weather prevented the Tunku from flying yesterday morning to inspect refugee reception camps on the border with West Bengal.
