Bangla schools asked not to use Mujib’s name

From Our Dacca Office, JAN. 7- In educational institutions and organizations wherever the words East Pakistan or Pakistan occurs this should be substituted by the word Bangladesh, says a Government Press note.
The Press Note adds: There is a recent trend also to associate the name of the Bangla bangabandhu with many educational institutions; this should stop. This was not the way to show respect to the Father of the Nation.
In order to put a brake on indiscriminate change of names of educational institutions it has been decided by the Government that in future names of educational institutions should not be changed without prior approval of the Government.
The Government has approved the change of name of Jinnah College, Dacca to Titumir College.
Dacca Museum will collect objects relating to the national liberation movement so as to depict the struggle for Bangladesh in historical sequence according to a Press release here adds PTI.
