Bangla officials allowed to stay in Australia

CANBERRA, DEC. 21- Two Bengali officials of the Pakistani High Commission in Canberra resigned today and sought temporary residence in Australia, in sympathy with Bangladesh, says Reuter.
Immigration Minister Dr. James Forbes has agreed to the two men staying for one year “humanitarian grounds”.
The officials are Mr. A. K. H. Morshed a counselor with the Commission and Mr. Z. S. Chowdhury the second secretary.
