No date yet on Swadhin Bangla Assembly session
By A Staff Reporter, A member of the Bangladesh Cabinet said he had no information when an Assembly might be convened at Dacca. There was no detailed knowledge about what had happened to all the members elected from Bangladesh in the election earlier this year.
Our Correspondent at Dhupguri adds. It is understood that the first sitting of the Provincial Assembly of Swadhin Bangladesh Government will be held at Dacca on December 14.
The Bangladesh Government meanwhile arranged publication of postage stamps of Rs. 5 bearing the portrait of Mujibur Rahman and stamps worth Rs. 2 and Rs. 1 bearing the map of Bangladesh and war field respectively. On the other hand, the money value of Swadhin Bangladesh will be at par with the Indian currency.
