Defection of Pak envoy in Iraq hailed

Welcoming Pakistan’s Ambassador in Iraq. His Excellency A. F. M. Abul Fateh on his transfer of allegiance to Bangladesh the Bangladesh Foreign Minister, Mr. Khandakar Moshtaque Ahmed asked the Foreign Secretary of the Government of West Pakistan who is currently presiding over a conference in Teheran of his Ambassadors in West Asia and Africa to consider why the chair of the Ambassador to Iraq is vacant. Does he require the empty seat to remind him of the atrocious brutalities his Government is – committing to decimate the Bangali nation? Mr. Khandakar commented.
A Bangladesh Government spokesman said in Washington today that the people of Bangladesh were determined to prevent any material aid to the occupation forces, says agencies.
During the past one week the Mukti Bahini had attacked more than a dozen big ships in the various ports of Bangladesh, he said and added that any nation sending their ships in aid of Islamabad dictatorship would therefore, do so at their own risk.
