Ataur Rahaman released
DACCA, SEPT. 4- Mr. Ataur Rahaman Khan, Chief of the Pakistan National League, was released from detention yesterday, says Reuter.
Mr. Khan, who was the Awami League’s Chief Minister in 1956 was arrested by the security forces at his village home about 64 kms. east of Dacca on June 14 following the army crackdown on the Awami League members.
Mr. Rahman left the Awami League and formed his new political organization the Pakistan National League, last year.
