Mujib’s parents tortured
MUJIBNAGAR, JUNE 17. – Pakistani troops destroyed Tungipara village the birthplace of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and tortured the Sheikh’s aged parents a few days ago according to Free Bangladesh Radio. reports UNI.
“The barbaric hordes of Yayha dragged the 90 year-old father and the ailing mother of our great leader along with other inmates, assaulted them and finally pushed them out.” the radio added.
Five school going children were shot dead, a young woman was abducted and all young men of the village were taken into custody. The village is in Gopalganj sub-division of Faridpur district.
