Bhashani on way to Delhi
BOMBAY. April 18. National Awami Party leader, Maulana Bhashani who recently met Union Minister, Mr. Moinul Huq Chowdhury, somewhere in Assam, was tonight believed to be on his way to New Delhi.
The expected arrival of Maulana Bhasani in the capital was considered significant in view of his reported meetings at Tura with the BanglaDesh Prime Minister, Mr. Tajuddin Ahmed and other top Awami League leaders a few days ago.
Informed sources also did not rule out the possibility that the Maulana who has thrown his lot behind Sheik Mujibur Rahman, may seek political asylum in India. (PTI)
