Economic Adviser Of Yahya Stabbed

RAWALPINDI, Sept. 15— A man drew a knife and stabbed President Yahya Khan’s Economic Advise, Mian Muzaffar Ahmed, in his office here today and was then quickly overpowered and arrested, according to officials, reports Reuter. Mr. Ahmed, who is 54 was rushed to hospital with an abdominal wound. Doctors said he was out of danger.
Police identified the alleged assailant as Mohammed Aslam Qureshi, from Sialkot.
Government officials said the assailant an air-conditioning supervisor, was recently dismissed from the Government, Capital Development Association.
