Kissinger confers with Pak Army chief
New Delhi, July 9. President Nixon’s National Security Affairs Adviser, Mr. Henry Kissinger, conferred with the Pakistan Army Chief, Mr. Abdul Hamid Khan, in Nathiagali near Peshwar today.
Radio Pakistan, which reported this, said details of the talks were not disclosed. The two had lunch together.
Dr. Kissinger is in Nathiagali for rest. He is accompanied by the Pakistan Foreign Secretary, Mr. S. M. Khan. The radio said Dr. Kissinger was slightly indisposed. He will, however, keep “important” engagements.
