SHEIKH MEETS BHASHANI

Sheikh Mujibur Rahman met Moulana Bhashani at the residence of Mr. Sayeedul Hasan, Treasurer EPNAP (Bhashani group) for 35 minutes last night.
Coming out of the conference room Sheikh Mujibur Rahman told warning newsmen, “I had purely personal talks with the Moulana”.
Moulana Bhashani said, “I told him (Sheikh Mujibur Rahman) of the political situation obtaining in the country and also how the present movement had started”. He said, “I also told him the feelings of the students peasants and workers”.
Moulana said he did not discuss with Sheikh Mujibur Rahman anything about the proposed round table conference. “I don’t know whether he (Sheikh Mujibur Rahman) will go to the round table conference or not but then his party is the constituent of DAC”. He also believed that Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will place the demands of the people (11-points) at the conference.
