Islamabad bank accounts of Bengalis frozen

By a Staff Reporter. The West Pakistani authorities are learnt to have frozen the bank accounts of all the Bengali Speaking people in Islamabad. Orders have also been issued restricting the movement of the Bengalis and it has been directed hat no Bengali should be allowed to draw more than Rs 30 at a time from a bank.
It was gathered that he Bangladesh high Command has issued the instruction to all the MNAs and the MPAs for going back to their respective constituencies immediately. The MNAs and the MPAs will, it was tentatively decided, call themselves MPs and MLAs and will be required to report at he Mukti Fouj camps if they find it difficult to go back to the constituencies.
The Pakistani Army on Thursday attacked a Mukti Fouj station at Medinipur village in Kusthia. During this operation they also shelled on Dharampur a village in Indian territory.
