War only solution to Bangladesh, says H. M. Patel
From Our Special Correspondent, AHMEDABAD Sept. 2—Mr. H. M. Patel, MP, Chairman of Gujrat Swarantra Party, said that war with Pakistan was the only way to solve the Bangladesh problem and to enable the 80-lakh refugees to return to their homes.
Mr. Patel addressing a symposium on Bangladesh organised by the Mahrashtra Samaj bady part, strategically it was not possible to declare war during monsoon but anytime later than October will be dangerous.
He said that naval blockade along East Bengal coast could effectivey check atrocities of the Pakistani Army in Bangladesh.
Mr. Kantilal Gheeya, Vice-President of Gujrat Congress, said that the —gestion of recognision of Bangladesh should be left to the Government. Mr. Gajendra Gadkar Secretary of Gujrat Unit of Jana Sang demanded immediate recognition of Bangladesh even at the cost of war with Pakistan.
A three-member delegation of the committee headed by the Major of Ahmedabad will visit Calcutta.
