Abdullah’s silence about Bangladesh criticised
From Our Own Correspondent, JAMMU, May 20-The Union Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism. Dr. Karan Singh yesterdawy in an oblique reference to Sheikh Abdullah lashed at him for keeping mum at the perpetration of brutalities by Pakistan in Bangladesh and having a dig at him said: “Perhaps those persons who proclaim their faith in Insani Baradari apparently do not consider people of Bangladesh to be human beings”. (Sheikh Abdullah is also a prominent leader of Insani Baradari).
Dr. Karan Singh who yesterday addressed a number of meetings in various towns on Dhar-Udhampur-Srinagar Highway while on his way from Srinagr to Pathanket en route to New Delhi strengly attacked Pakistan and said that recent happenings. In Bangladesh were a complete negation of the two-nation theory and the brutal act on of Pakistan Army in massa cring thousands of innocent civilians including women and children should have been condemned by all nations of the world. He said he was surprised that would conscience had not been aroused by this unparallelled human tragedy.
