of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, General Secretary, East Pakistan Awami League, in a statement last night said:
‘I am surprised, rather shockd to see the statement of Haji Md. Danesh and Mr. A. Samad, Parliamentary leader of the NAP in the East Pakistan Assembly and Joint Secretary of the NAP Organising Committee respectively, published in today’s local Press. What they wanted to convey at length by the statement is that the Awami League Coalition Government indulged in corruption and aggravated the economic crisis. They seem to have adopted the double role of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, some sort of double-edged sword. They want to eat the cake and have it too.
Since my understanding with my counterpart of the NAP myself and other leaders of my party have been honoring the sanctity of that understanding which the Haji Saheb also in one of his previous press statements admitted to guarded secret…….
