Mujib’s Rejoinder to Wahiduzzaman

The General Secretary of the East Pakistan Awami League, Sk. Mujibur Rahman, on Friday issued a rejoinder to Mr. Wahiduzzaman, ex-MCA (Muslim League), who had changed Mr. Rahman to contest an election with him on the issue or electorate, reports APP.
Mr. Rahman said that he was prepared to resign from his constituency (where he defeated Mr. Zaman last time) and again contest him on the electorate issue on two conditions: First, Mr. Wahiduzzman should make the Muslim League High Command agree to drop the separate electorates proposal in case Mr. Zaman was defeated. Secondly, Mr. Zaman should give away his property for charitable purposes if he was defeated.
Mr. Rahman also challenged Mr. Zaman, Mr. Nurul Amin or any other Muslim League leader to contest the coming by-elections. Sk. Mujibur Rahman added that any of his workers from Gopalganj could defeat Mr. Zaman.
