Sk. Mujib Visits Paper Mills At Chandraghona
CHITTAGONG, OCT. 26: The East Pakistan Commerce, Labour and Industries Minister Sk. Mujibur Rehman visited the Chandraghona Paper Mills and Kaptai Hydro-Electric Projects today accompanied by a number of local leaders and MPAs. The Minister inspected various departments of the mills. He was shown different stages of development in manufacturing of papers from raw materials to finish. He visited the Labour quarter of the mills and talked with labour representative there. He addressed a public meeting at Kaptai where he dealt with food and other problems. The Industries Minister, who arrived here from Dacca Accompanied by the Chief Whip Mr. Abdul Jabber Khaddar, was accorded a reception by a big crowd.
He was taken round the main thoroughfare of the town on an open jeep while the cheering crowds on both sides of the road shouted slogans of welcome.-APP.
