Chief Minister Promises clean administration
Political Prisoners to be released Immediately

The five man coalition Ministry headed by the Awami League Party leader, Mr. Ataur Rahman Khan, was installed in Dacca at a formal oath-taking ceremony held at Government House at 5 pm yesterday. The East Pakistan Council of Ministers consists of Mr. Ataur Rahman Khan (Chief Minister), Mr. Abul Mansur Ahmed (Awami League), Mr. Kafiluddin Ahmed Chaudhury (Independent), Sheikh Mujibur Rahman (Awami League) and Mr. Mahmud Ali (Pakistan Ganatantri Dal). He said that earlier he had met the President, Major General Iskander Mirza, and apprised him of the political and economic situation in the Province. He said that the President’s intent was that the Province must have a stable Government and that the “political integrity” must be maintained.
