Satkania Meeting
SATKANIA (Chittagong), June 6t- Mr. Sk. Mujibur Rahman, General Secretary, E.P. Awami Muslim League, accompanied by Mr. Abdul Hamid Choudhury, MLA, reached Satkania yesterday and in the evening addressed a public meeting at Amirabad which was presided over by prof. Nurul Islam Choudhury. Jonab Moulana Bhashani could not attend the meeting because of his sudden illness.
Mr. Shiekh Mujibur Rahman in his speech narrated the history in his speech narrated the history of the last seven years activities of the Awami League. He praised he sacrifice and fighting spirit of the sincere and honest workers of the country, most of whom are the builder of East Pakistan Awami Muslim League.
He said the defeat of the autocratic Muslim League could only be possible because thousands of Awami League workers did not hesitate a moment to be prepared to sacrifice anything in order to establish real people’s democracy in the country.-APP.
