4 Awami Leaguers Leave for Karachi

Messrs Ataur Rahman Khan and Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, VicePresident and General Secretary, respectively, of the East Pakistan Awami Muslim League, accompanied by two other Awami League MLAs, Messrs Abul Mansoor Ahmed and Moslem Ali Mollah, left for Karachi yesterday (Friday) by PIA on receipt of two telegraphic summons from Mr. H. S. Suhrawardy. In the morning both Mr. Ataur Rahman Khan and Mr. Mujibur Rahman had telephonic discussion with Moulana Bhashani, President of the Provincial Awami Muslim League, who assented to their Karachi trip and informed them that he had already written to Mr. Suhrawardy to do whatever was required for establishing Democracy in Pakistan and for her safety.
