Seven more prosecution witnesses were cross-examined by the defence counsel in the court of Mr. Fazle Rabbi, Magistrate, First Class, Dacca, on the second day of the hearing of the Dacca Central
Jail rioting case yesterday (Thursday). It will be recalled that the hearing was resumed on March 2, when 5 prosecution witnesses were cross-examined. Mr. Shaikh Mujibar Rahman, ex-Minister of the deposed Fazlul Huq Cabinet, is one of the 11 persons who are involved in this case. The hearing will continue for 7 days, it is learnt. Mr. Ataur Rahman Khan, Advocate, appeared for the defence and Mr. Mazhar Hasnain, Advocate, appeared on behalf of the Crown.
