US official takes a trip to Dacca
From Our Airport Correspondent, Mr. David M. Abshire, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Congressional Relations, left for Delhi on Tuesday night after a day’s halt in the city. He had arrived from Bangkok on Monday. He declined to meet newsmen.
Strict secrecy was maintained by U.S. officials in Calcutta about Mr. Abshire’s visit to Dacca on Tuesday.
