Mujib overwhelmed by warm welcome
LAHORE, Feb. 25 (APP): Sheikh Mujibur Rahman leader of the six-point Awami League, said here today that he was overwhelmed by the warm reception accorded to him by the citizens of Lahore. Talking to newsmen before his departure for Rawalpindi to participate in the Round Table Conference Sheikh Mujibur Rahman said that he would always remember the love and affection shown to him by the brave citizens of the city.
Referring to his talks with independent political leaders including Air Marshall Asghar Khan and Lt. Gen. Azam Khan Mr. Mujib said: “I am absolutely satisfied with the results of our deliberations with them.”
