KRISHNAGAR JUNE 17–Probably lured by Pakistani propaganda of a “warm welcome” to returning evacuees from Indian camps, two Muslim refugees crossed the border yesterday through Chapra-only to be greeted by a “cordial” burst of machine gun fire by Pakistani troops, reports PTI.
One of them died on the spot. The other managed to get back to Indian territory and was admitted to Kirshnagar Hospital with serious bullet injuries.
