Bangladesh is committed to establish a society free from all kinds of exploitations. The hard-earned freedom would be meaningless without economic emancipation of the people. In Bangladesh, the rich would no more be richer and the poor poorer. Nobody will die of starvation. Everybody will have a happy and contented life.
I congratulate the Indian press for projecting the truth about Bangladesh at a time when it was difficult to get it from within the country as the occupation Pakistan army had gagged the press and sealed all the means of its communication with the outside world.
The members of the Indian journalist fraternity collected news relating to Pakistan army’s atrocities at the risk of their lives and told the world about what was really happening there. If you had inoti told the truth, it would have been difficult for the people of Bangladesh, my colleagues and the members of the Mukti Bahini to get any assistance from abroad.
Pakistani hordes who were the agents of imperialism not only tried to keep the people under subjugation with its brutal army but also made efforts to snatch away the language and culture from the people of Bangladesh.
