- Muktibahini ends up in an assault with West Pakistan policemen from Barhatta Police Station and Tantar area in Mymensingh. Muktibahini capture the police station and hold 105 Razakars. They also seize 80 rifles and 1 L.M.G from the police station, and some mortars and 12 bombs from Tantar area.
- In Chittagong, a team of Muktibahini manage to sink a big oil-carrying ship named ‘Mahtab Jabed’ by explosion. 7 sailors including a fireman are killed in this assault.
