- Mukti Bahini equipped with mortars attack a camp of Pakistani army personnel at Kayempur in Comilla. Two army men are killed and four others sustain injuries during the attack.
- Ten Pakistani army men are killed when Mukti Bahini (freedom fighters) attacked on their Bhoyadanga camp in Sri Bordi of Mymensingh.
- Mukti Bahini get locked in a clash with Pakistani army soldiers and Razakars at Alinagar in Sylhet that leaves three Pak soldiers dead and five injured.
- Mukti Bahini ambush a platoon of Pak army men at Panchhara at 2 no. Sector. Three Pakistani soldiers are killed and four injured in the ambush.
- Three groups of Mukti Bahini dig a bunker of 1200 yards at three camps of Pak army situated at Parshuram and Phulgazi of 2 no. sector. When a patrol team of the Pak army comes near about 100 yards off the freedom fighters who are in the bunker, they (Mukti Bahini) swoop in on them. A total of 10 Pak army members including a lieutenant are killed in the attack.
- Thirty two Bangalee high officials including three former central secretaries withdraw their positions as government officials.
