- Bangladesh government Deputy President Syed Nazrul Islam and chief Lieutenant Col MAG Osmani visits several freedom fighters’ camp and praises them for their recent feats against Pakistan military.
- Muktibahini ambush a platoon of Pakistan military near Kakdanga in Hakimpur sub-sector of sector 8. Six Pakistan troopers are killed and five injured after intense fighting. The freedom fighters came back to their camp unharmed.
- A Muktibahini guerilla team attack a stage of third Punjab regiment near Kosba of Comilla. One launch, belonging to Pakistanis, drowned and several of its troopers are killed.
- Muktibahini guerillas launch a sudden attack on a Razakar team near navy headquarters in Dhaka’s Banani. Four Razakars are killed.
- Muktibahini launch tree-way attack on Pakistan military on Gopalganj’s Bhatiapara. 30 Pakistani troopers and 20 Razakars are killed. Pakistan re-launch attack from the air with choppers. But, they are compelled to fall back.
- 2 Razakars surrendered to Muktibahini in Jessore’s Benapole.
