- In a news published in the newspaper ‘Sunday Times’, it says: “A storm of consternation is going on in East Pakistan. Local citizens are divided into three categories. White, which means innocent, and grey, which means they will lose their jobs and will be arrested. And those who will end up in the black list are definitely going to be killed. …….. 36 Bengali District Magistrates or Subdivision Magistrates have already been murdered. Some have managed to escape. Pakistan Army killed the District Magistrates and Police Supers on reaching Comilla, Rangpur, Kushtia, Noakhali, Faridpur, and Sirajganj.”
