- A platoon of soldiers from EPR led by Habilder Shamsul Haque attack on Pakistan forces positioned at Latu.
- Pakistan army attack on Romanathpur in Jhalakathi. Threatened of their lives, when civilians took refuge in Sharifbari mosque, Pakistan soldiers dragged 17 men including A. Mannan, A. Salam, A. Hashem Majhi, A. Razzak Khan, and A. Jabbar and shoot them by the pond side. Among them A. Razzak Khan and Nurul Islam Sharif stayed alive being fortunate, and rest of them became martyrs.
