- On Sylhet- Brahmanbaria Road, near Nalua tea garden in Sylhet, freedom fighters ambush on a large military convoy of Pakistan army. A Pakistan army truck is destroyed and 27 Pakistan soldiers are killed in the ambush. Freedom fighter Captain Matiur Rahman took his comrades to safe place when Pakistan forces countered.
- A group of freedom fighters led by Lt Morshed ambush Pakistan forces on Sylhet-Dhaka Highway. A Pakistan army jeep and a truck are destroyed in the ambush. Lt Morshed then take his team to shelter when Pakistan forces retaliate.
- ‘Razakar Bahini’ is formed to assist Pakistan army against Muktibahini in the war.
