Mujib does not seek domination of West Wing
LONDON, March 15: Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has said that he did not seek to dominate West Pakistan by demanding complete regional autonomy and representation in Parliament on population basis as elections would be held on party basis.
Air Marshal Asghar Khan, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto appeared on the half-hour television programme for British viewers last night and explained their respective standpoints about various issues confronting Pakistan.
The Air Marshal said that it should be assumed that President Ayub had started with good intentions but soon after he was surrounded by sycophants and self-seeking advisers who passed on to him wrong information as well as unwise counsel. The Government for the last few years had persistently followed policy of repression.
