FOREIGN OFFICE SUMMONS SEVEN CHIEFS OF MISSION

Foreign Office’ Director General for Political Affairs RIBN Dididjaja diningrat yesterday summoned seven Chiefs of Missions in Djakarta to explain Indonesia’s stand point on Indo-Pakistani conflict.
They are Chiefs of Missions from the embassies of the US, the Soviet Union, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines and Thailand.
Dididjaja diningrat also told them Indonesia’s proposals to Yahya Khan and to Indian Prime Minister Mrs Indira Gandhi, which were contained in letters submitted to the Indian and Pakisani Ambassadors last Friday.
The Proposals have five points, as the Djakarta Times gathered from the reliable sources from the Foreign Office yesterday.
They are : first, the implementation of the cease fire, second, withdrawal of troops from Dacca, third, return of refugees to East Pakistan, fourth, ascertainment of people’s wishes of East Pakistan and fifth establishment of a civilian government in East Pakistan.
These points should have been disclosed Monday as promised by the Foreign Office, but they were not – Rid.
