Mujib Not Transferred To Jail Hospital
Sk. Mujibur Rahman, who is now in the Dacca Central Jail under the D.P.R, has not been transferred to the Jail hospital it is authoritatively learnt here last night reports APP.
The source reports that it appears from a section of Press that Sheikh Mujibur Rahman President of the East Pakistan Awami League, now under detention under the D.P.R.in the Dacca Central Jail, is seriously ill and has been transferred to the Jail hospital. It is not at all correct.
SK. Mujibur Rahman complained of pain in the abdomen on May 11. He was immediately attended by the Jail doctor and Civil Surgeon. It is learnt from their reports that his ..ailment was very minor and he was treated in his ward. There was no need of his transfer to the Jail hospital at any stage. He is now quite well.
It is further learnt that Begum Mujibur Rahman had an interview with her husband on Sunday afternoon in the jail office.
