Bhutto invites Mujib to confrontation
DACCA, April 12: Foreign Minister Z.A. Bhutto said here tonight, that he was prepared to discuss with Sheikh Mujibur Rahman his six-point programme or any other issue during his cun-ent visit to this Province.
Talking to newsmen at Tejgaon Airport the Foreign Minister replied in the affirmative that he would be willing to do so “from the same public platform”.
Mr. Bhutto said that he would stay here about for a week in connection with the visit the Chinese Head of the State, Mr Liu Shao-Chi. “I hope Sheikh Mujib would appreciate my inability to meet him at the time of the visit of the distinguished guest” he said, but remarked smilingly: “I hope to meet him after the departure of the Chinese Head of the State.”—PPA
