Pakistanis In Burma
MUJIB’S APPEAL TO GOVT.

Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, General Secretary of the East Pakistan Awami League, yesterday appealed to the Government to make arrangements with the Burmese Government for the repatriation of Pakistani business men and their properties there, reports APP.
In a statement last night he said due to the nationalisation measure in Burma no Pakistani business men could bring with him any of his assets and even their repatriation has been rendered difficult.
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman said India has already taken diplomatic steps in this conncetion and the arrangements have been made for the Indian nationals and said that the Pakistan Government should “shake off its indifference and neglect” on the issue.
