Pakistan shocked
The People of Pakistan were greatly shocked to hear the tragic end of the U.S. President John F. Kennedy who was shot dead on Friday at Dallas.
The Acting Speaker of the National Assembly, Chaudhury Afzal Cheema condoling the death described Kennedy as one of the greatest statesmen in the world. His death shall be mourned by entire world”. Mr.Cheema said that although the reason of his assassination was not yet known, presumably this might have been the result of his pro-negro policy of disegregation.
He said that it was all the more sad that such a dastardly act of brutality had taken place in one of the most advanced countries of the world.
Mr. Cheema said that his death inspite of most elaborate security arrangement once more confirmed “our belief as Muslims that lives are entirely in the hands of God Almighty”.
SHEIKH MUJIB
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, former General Secretary of the defunct provincial Awami League in his condolence message said that his death was a great loss for the promotion of peace in the world.
