Kissinger Declines To Comment
PARIS, July 13.-Dr. Henry Kissinger, President Nixon’s Adviser on National Security affairs, declined to comment on whether he had conferred with a leading member of an outlawed organization in Pakistan during his recent visit to Rawalpindi, reports Reuter.
He would not make any comment on a denial by an official Pakistani spokesman that he had met Mr. Kamal Hossain a constitutional adviser to East Bengal’s outlawed Awami League, during his stay in the Nathiagali health resort near Rawalpindi.
Specifically asked by reporters about this, he said neither yes or no but just smiled.
