13 KILLED IN DACCA RIOTS
YAHYA KHAN CALLS FOR MEETING MARCH 10
Dacca, Pakistan, March 3 (AP) REPORTS said Wednesday as many as 13 persons have been killed in two days of rioting and a protest strike that has deepened Pakistans constitutional crisis.
Informed sources said one person was killed Wednesday in continuing violence after a night of clashes between police and demonstrators. One report said 12 persons were killed and 80 wounded in these clashes, but there were other conflicting reports on the riot.
Pakistan President Yahya Khan Wednesday called a meeting for March 10 in Dacca of the nation’s political leaders to try to resolve the country’s constitutional crisis.
