4 Editors Face Trial By Pak Military Court
LAHORE. May 16 Four Lahore newspaper editors are to be tried by a military court for alleged violations of Martial Law regulations imposed in March, an official announcement said here on Friday, reports Reuter. The announcement said four editors of Urdu language dailies published here had been accused under special regulations that imposed censorship and banned “matter which tends to cause agitation, alarm and despondency o any political issue. The four newspapers are the Nawl-i-Waqt. Kohistan, Tavedan and Musawat. The announcement gave no details of the alleged offences but said that the newspaper had not heeded a reminder about the special regulations issued on March-7.
