Nasrullah to meet Mujib, Mozaffar today

Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan, Convener, the Democratic Action Committee, will today meet Awami League leader Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and President of the Requisitionist East Pakistan NAP Mr. Mozaffar Ahmed, and discuss President Ayub’s offer of dialogue with them. The two leaders are under detention.
Meanwhile Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan who airdashed to Dacca on Wednesday to hold consultation with East Pakistan DAC leaders on President’s offer for a round table conference on constitutional issues told newsmen that he had already completed talks with East Pakistani leaders of eight components of the Democratic Action Committee.
Responding to a question Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan who is also chief of the Pakistan Democratic Movement, said his talks with leaders centred round President Ayub’s letter requesting him to nominate the list of participants to the proposed conference.
The proposed round table conference between President Ayub and Opposition leaders is scheduled to be held in Rawalpindi on February 17. The Central DAC which will finally decide about the participation in the conference is scheduled to be held in Dacca on February 15 and 16 but DAC sources indicated…
Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan told a questioner that he would seek interview with Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Mr. Mozaffar Ahmed. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, an accused in the Agartala Conspiracy case, is now under military custody in the Dacca Cantonment. Mr. Mozaffar Ahmed Arrested recently under DPR is now in the Dacca Central Jail.
Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan said that after completing talks with Opposition leaders he might meet the President. But he said he will meet President Ayub after the meeting of the National Executive of the DAC.

Meanwhile, the East Pakistan Awami League Working Committee is holding its emergency meeting here on February 9 to discuss present political situation and decide about the stand of the party under the light of the present development of the political situation.
Announcing this, Mr. Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury, Acting General Secretary of the Party, requested all the members of the party and its M.N.As. and MPAs to attend the meeting.
A Press release issued last evening by the East Pakistan Awami League, all the units have been requested to observe “Six- point Day” on February 11.
