Pak Army officials confer with Chinese in Dacca

DHUPGURI, NOV. 1–According to reliable source a meeting of the Martial Law authorities was held in Dacca, on October 24 at Continental Building in which some Chinese officials were present. The Martial Law authorities apprised the Chinese officials of their requirements of arms and ammunition, medicines and preserves of food.
The Chinese officials visited some border villages.
Meanwhile, the Pak Army concentrated heavily at Pachagarh and virtually made it their headquarters in the Dinajpur sector.
A top-ranking leader of the Awami league disclosed here that during the week from October 21 to 27 the Mukti Bahini killed two officers, two junior commissioned officers, 115 Pak troops and burnt one jeep in the Rangpur-Dinajpur sector.
Our Correspondent at Jalpaiguri reports: Amarkhana BOP to Jagdalhat in the Pachagarh sector of Dinajpur, opposite Chaulhati border of Jalpaiguri was recaptured by Bangladesh freedom fighter on October 28 night according to a reliable report from across border.
The concrete bridge, connecting Khajanpur and Amarkhana over the Chawai river has been blown up. When Pak troops were engage shelling on Indian border they were attacked from behind by the Mukti Bahini. As a result about 30 Pak troops were either killed or injured and Amarkhana BOP building was destroyed. The Pak Army have now taken position behind Jadilhat.
Our Majdia Correspondent reports: Mukti Fouj guerillas waylaid one Pak Army platoon at Gayeshpur village inside Kusthia district Bangladesh on Saturday,
According to Mukti Fouj souses 5 Pak soldiers were killed and more than 10 injured.
Our Correspondent at Ralganj adds: Mukti Bahini guerillas blew up a railway bridge between Charkai and Fulbari railway stations near Kurshakhall in Dinajpur district disrupting rail communications between Santahar and Fulbari last weekended according to a delayed report from Mukti Bahini sources.
Eighteen Rajakars were reported to have surrendered to the Mukti Bahini with their rifles and large quantities of ammunition.
