Dhar discounts rumours of rift in Bangla
NEW DELHI, JAN. 7-Mr. D. P. Dhar, Chairman of the Policy Planning Committee of the External Affairs Ministry, said today that reports about dissensions in Bangladesh leadership were highly exaggerated reports UNI.
Participating in a Delhi television discussion on the reconstruction of Bangladesh entitled “Out of the Ashes” he said although there were some difference in approach to the problems of the new nation, which was a basic thing in a democratic tradition, yet the entire people of “Bangladesh had only one aim-how best to reconstruct the country and consolidate their freedom.
Mr. Dhar, who returned recently from Bangladesh, said the rate at which normaley was returning in Bangladesh was phenomenal.
Even the United Nations Secretary General’s Special Representative was impressed by the progress made by the 15-day old nation in establishing order in various branches of administration and society.
