Pak move to bar Bangla team’s entry into UN
NEW DELHI SEPT. 28— Apparently irked by the presence of the Bangladesh representatives at the UN, Pakistan has asked U Thant to ban their entry into the U. N. says UNI. This new Pakistani move was contained in a letter addressed to him by Pakistan’s UN Representative Mr. Aga Shahi Radio Pakistan reported today.
The letter also asked the USA to Bar Mr. Siddiqui and others from entering New York.
The 14-member Bangladesh delegation is currently in New York under the leadership of Mr. Abu Sayeed Chowdhury, head of the Bangladesh mission in London to mobilse opinion against Islamabad’s repression in East Bengla to seek Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s release and to secure a settlement in Bangladesh in conformity with the wishes of the people there.
