Mujib Denies Press Reports
Says No Differences with Bhashani
Karachi, Feb. 13 (APP): Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the East Pakistan Minister and General Secretary of the Provincial Awami League, today denied that he was planning to launch a campaign against Maulana Bhashani.
Sheikh Mujib said that there were no differences between him and Maulana Bhashani who was the accepted head of the Awami League organization in East Pakistan and I am his loyal secretary.’ He added that such reports being circulated to create differences in the Awami League Party which at present was a united and cohesive party. “There is no truth in these reports. They are absolutely false.” He said his relations with Maulana Bhashani were good, old and unimpaired. They had worked together and for the same organization over the last eight years.
