MUJIB VISITS P.I.F
East Pakistan Commerce, Labour and Industries Minister, Mr. Sheikh Mujibbur Rahman yesterday evening appealed to the industrialists to develop the industries of the Province by utilizing its huge stock of raw materials. Mr. Rahman who was speaking from the announcement room of the Pakistan Industrial Fair in Dacca said that no country could prosper unless it developed her own industries.
The Minister said that every year such exhibition should be organized to encourage the indigenous products. Earlier, Mr. Rahman went round talking to the stall-holders about the exhibition visiting stalls and their goods.
P.I.F. announced the lucky Ticket numbers which was drawn yesterday in presence if the Director of Industries, Government of East Pakistan and other officials. The holder of ticket number 8 got the first prize of medium wave five bulb Radio set; ticket number 425 got one table clock in the second prize and the third prize silk blouse piece to ticket holder no. 250.-APP.
