Ten More Members For East Bengal Cabinet
Swearing In Ceremony On Saturday

Chief Minister Mr. Fazlul Huq submitted a list of ten names to the Governor of East Pakistan, Choudhury Khaliquzzaman, yesterday (Thursday) evening for inclusion in his Cabinet, reports APP The new ministers will be sworn in on Saturday morning. The strength of his Cabinet would thus be raised to fourteen. Six more Ministers would be added later on according to knowledgeable sources. This third instalment’ is expected to include two non-Muslims. A Press Note issued here yesterday night from the Goverment House said: “Mr. A. K. Fazlul Huq. Chief Minister of East Bengal, again met the Governor today and was with him for about half an hour. He has submitted a further list of names for inclusion in his Cabinet consisting of the following: (1) Mr. Ataur Rahman Khan, (2) Mr. Yusuf Ali Chowdhury. (3) Mr. Abdus Salam Khan, (4) Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, (5) Mr. Syed Moazzemuddin Hossain, (6) Mr. Abul Mansoor Ahmed, (7) Mr. Hashemuddin Ahmed, (8) Mr. Kafiluddin Ahmed Chowdhury, (9) Mr. Razzakul Hayder Choudhury, and (10) Mr. Abdul Latif Biswas.
SWORNING IN ON SATURDAY These gentlemen will be swom in as Ministers in the East Bengal Cabinet at a ceremony to be held at the Government house on Saturday at 10-30 a.m. All the new members, except Mr. Moazzemuddin Hussain, called on Mr. Fazlul Hug, soon after his retum from the Govemment House. Addressing them Mr. Fazlul Huq expressed satisfaction at the una nimity among various parties on the expansion of his Cabinet. He hoped that all would work together in the greater interest of Pakistan. He expressed his determination to maintain the unity of the United Front Party
