Yakub Khan And Ahsan May Face Court Martial
AGARTALA, Aug. 14—The Pakistani military junta is reported to have decided to court-martial Lt-Gen. Yakub Khan and Vice- Admiral Ahsan, former Martial Law Administrator and Governor of East Bengal, respectively, before a special military tribunal for adopting a “soft line towards the Awami League leader Mr. Mujibur Rahman, according to close associate of Mr. Rahman, reports UNI.
Both of them were removed from service in the first week of march, and General Tikka Khan succeeded both of them as Martial Law Administrator and Governor.
